About:

A fiery movement that empowers girls to embrace honesty, passion, and struggle.

Objectives:

The Just, Girl. Project began as a crowdfunding campaign for Ilana Harkavy, a Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter, to raise funds for her girl power pop EP. Simultaneously, we aimed to build a bold social media following and develop empowering content to inspire the community. Our newest endeavor has been to promote the online store, which features beautiful inspirational illustrations. The non-profit will be established in 2018.

Summary:

We raised over $28,000 for JG and produced a successful music video to raise awareness about eating disorders and promote body positivity. But more importantly, we’ve created a global movement to empower girls to be authentic and tenacious. The Just, Girl. Project has been featured on many respected media outlets including Huffington Post, NPR, and MIC. JG’s fan base exceeds 100,000 followers. Our music video has garnered over 100,000 organic views. The brand is well-respected within the girl power community, followed by brands like Ipsy, The Girl Scouts, I am That Girl, and Makers Magazine. We launches an online store to sell our custom illustrations and have big plans for the non-profit and mentorship program.
